Who is Doug Shaw?
I am an experimenter and facilitator and I run What Goes Around Limited, a company which uses innovative engagement techniques to help organisations improve financial and business performance, and customer service. I have over 12 years of experience of sales, sustainability, employee engagement and change management at senior management and director level within a global business.
I enjoy using this experience and my enthusiasm for people and communities to create dialogue and solutions to match clients’ exact needs. What Goes Around works with a number of trusted associates to ensure the relevant expertise is always available to deliver great results.
I’m a member of the expert group supporting the MacLeod led Engagement Taskforce. I write a column for HR Zone, a leading online resource for HR professionals and I’ve been published in several magazines. I curate a global advice forum focusing on service, leadership and engagement, and I speak publicly and to groups of staff about how to link these powerful things together.

I’m married to Carole and we have a daughter, Keira. When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy cycling, playing the guitar, and cooking good food.
Put simply, my life has been built around two guiding principles; I do what I say I will and I help make useful, fun things happen.
