Terms of Engagement
I keep my terms of engagement simple.
Payment: Please pay for our work within one calendar month from receipt of invoice. I recognise the critical importance of cashflow and pay my supplier invoices very promptly, and appreciate similar promptness from customers, thank you. In the event of late payment, I reserve the right to charge late payment interest and fees in accordance with current UK Government practice. I raise an initial invoice for 30% of the agreed project fee when you accept our proposal and for longer term projects, agree a payment plan for the balance with you.
Cancellation and Postponement: Should you need to cancel or postpone a booking you have made, I charge 25% of the remaining agreed fee for cancellations and postponements of three months notice or more, 40% of the remaining agreed fee for cancellations or postponements between three months and one month notice, and 100% of the agreed fee for any cancellations or postponements with less than one months notice.
I am committed to comply with any relevant environmental legislation. When the time comes for the unavoidable disposal of IT equipment I first seek opportunities for reuse in the community, then follow the WEEE directive.
I do my utmost to lessen the impact of travel. What Goes Around Limited owns no motorised vehicles. I do have a bicycle which I use for short business trips (when it’s not raining!), and public transport is always my first choice when travelling to and from longer distance appointments.
